Invisible Dogs Bark Together

by Joanna Stonechapel©

It’s fillet of monster we’re having for dinner and Bobba’s choking on vampire thigh but she’s okay. Mom says she shouldn’t talk with her mouth full. Dad says he slain this monster last night when it was under my bed which probably isn’t true.

Bobba’s choking again and Mom says she should be wearing her bottom dentures. Dad says the worms are soggy, not like his mom used to make and they should be using lizard guts for tenderizing instead of alligator saliva.

None of my friends eat the kind of food we do. Why can’t we eat dinner like normal people?

Bobba’s 100 which is 700 in dog years.  Lancelot, my invisible dog, isn’t even that old.

Here’s a photo of Lancelot. Can’t see him? Yeah, that’s the problem with invisible dogs.

My dog Lancelot. See? Just like I said, he's invisible.
